7 Days Cairo & Nile Cruise with Domestic Flights – Itinerary

Day 1 – Arrival in Cairo

Welcome to Egypt! Upon arrival at Cairo International Airport, our representative will meet you and assist you with the arrival procedures. You will then be transferred by private air-conditioned vehicle to your hotel.

Check in and enjoy the rest of the day at leisure. Depending on your arrival time, you may relax at the hotel or explore Cairo on your own.

Day 2 – Pyramids of Giza & Cairo Sightseeing

After breakfast, begin your Cairo sightseeing tour with a visit to the legendary Pyramids of Giza, including the Great Pyramid of Cheops, the Pyramid of Khafre, and the Pyramid of Menkaure.

Continue to the Great Sphinx, one of Egypt's most recognizable monuments.

Enjoy lunch at a local restaurant before visiting the Egyptian Museum, where you can discover an impressive collection of ancient Egyptian artifacts and treasures.

Return to your hotel for a relaxing evening.

Day 3 – Cairo to Luxor by Domestic Flight & Nile Cruise

After breakfast, check out and transfer to Cairo Airport for your domestic flight to Luxor.

Upon arrival in Luxor, you will be met and transferred to your Nile cruise ship. After check-in and lunch onboard, begin exploring the East Bank of Luxor.

Visit the magnificent Karnak Temple, one of the largest temple complexes in ancient Egypt, followed by Luxor Temple, beautifully illuminated in the evening when possible.

Return to the cruise ship for dinner and overnight onboard.

Day 4 – Luxor West Bank & Sailing to Edfu

After breakfast, explore the West Bank of Luxor. Visit the famous Valley of the Kings, where ancient pharaohs were buried in richly decorated tombs.

Continue to the impressive Temple of Hatshepsut, built for one of Egypt's most famous female pharaohs. Stop at the Colossi of Memnon before returning to the cruise ship.

Enjoy lunch onboard while sailing south toward Edfu.

In the evening, relax on the ship and enjoy the scenery of the Nile Valley.

Day 5 – Edfu Temple & Kom Ombo Temple

After breakfast, visit the spectacular Temple of Edfu, dedicated to the falcon-headed god Horus. The temple is one of the best-preserved ancient Egyptian temples.

Return to the cruise ship and continue sailing toward Kom Ombo.

Later, visit Kom Ombo Temple, uniquely dedicated to two gods: Sobek, the crocodile god, and Horus the Elder.

Return to the cruise ship for dinner and continue sailing toward Aswan.

Day 6 – Aswan Sightseeing & Philae Temple

After breakfast, begin your Aswan sightseeing tour. Visit the Philae Temple, located on an island in the Nile and dedicated to the goddess Isis.

Continue to the Aswan High Dam, an important modern engineering project that transformed the region and created Lake Nasser.

Depending on your cruise schedule and flight arrangements, you may also enjoy a relaxing felucca ride around the Nile or additional sightseeing in Aswan.

Return to the cruise ship for your final night onboard.

Day 7 – Aswan to Cairo by Domestic Flight & Departure

Enjoy breakfast and check out from the Nile cruise.

Transfer to Aswan Airport for your domestic flight back to Cairo. Upon arrival, our representative will assist you with your connection or transfer to Cairo International Airport for your international departure flight.

If your departure flight is later in the day, additional sightseeing, hotel day-use, or other services can be arranged upon request.
